Film: Jack Preacher

What can I say? Well, it was not what I was expecting. Tom Cruise does a nice job, but the movie is pretty slow going. It is more of a mystery/drama than an action/suspense.

Film: Silver Linings Playbook

This is a film my wife and I had been waiting a long time to see. I am sorry to say, it was nowhere near as good as I had expected. I really had no idea what the movie was about, but I left wishing it was happier. Good acting all around, just not something I would consider a must watch.

Film: The Hangover

With so much hype, we finally had to see this. I think we were the last two people on the earth to have seen it, so a review would be worthless. That being said, we liked it. It had some funny moments and we will be looking forward to the next two Hangovers...the films.

Film: The Day The Earth Stood Still

Not a bad movie but we didn't finish it. My wife fell asleep so we turned it off. She fell asleep quickly because she believed it was slow, which I agree, but I may rent it again to finish...

Film: Yours Mine Ours

Surely not a pick me up movie. I was thinking about this after watching it... and I did not like the way if left me feeling. The kids were pretty mean, in funny ways. However, they are mean and spoiled. Besides that, it has some cute points. Little children will like it.

Film: Daybreakers

We were hesitant with the movie from the start but it did not fail to deliver. If I were to compare it to a movie I would say a combination of Blade and I am Legend. There is likely better representations, but those are the only two I could quickly think up. All in all, I liked the movie and would suggest others to view it.

Film: Dinner for Schmucks

What can I say, this film wasn't too bad. Not a pick me up, but surely had some funny aspects. The plot does seem to go on and on at points. It has some embarrassing humor/situations so don't watch it with your kids.

Film: Crimson Tide

I don't watch many films for the second or third time, but this one is easy to do. If you haven't seen this one, you should. Denzel and Gene are at the top of their game, seriously.
