Film - Crank
"Chev" played by Jason Statham, is injected with an adrenaline antagonist (movie refers to it as an inhibitor) which supposedly reduces his heart rate. He realizes that he must continue to move in order to survive. And move is what he does! At one point during the film, my wife and I commented on how much fun he appears to be having. In return we were having fun too.
On a side note the movie does not provide a very good scientific explanation of his problem. Maybe that is because I was distracted by the boobs, bullets, and bad lines. "Bad" as in "good." Or, maybe it is because an individual can live without his/her adrenal glands according to patient reports from the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. Again, don't give the movie much thought, just sit back and enjoy it.
The best thing about Crank, is that there is a sequel! Yup, Chev will be back for more action, in more ways than one...
